About this event

Well done to all the riders who made it to Cloudburst or their other climbing destination on last weekend's CSR! Thank you to all the volunteers who made the ride so pleasant.

This Saturday’s Weekend Endurance ride will be Parks and Paths. The route heads West and South for a tour of the LA area’s Mayberry (aka Montrose), Burbank hills, Griffith Park and its Observatory, two bike paths, and a segment of old Route 66. Riders can stop at Spoke Café or La Colombe on the LA River path for coffee/pastries. The final leg takes us through scenic Pasadena neighborhoods with mild climbs to the finish.

• Download the route prior to arrival.

• Be self-sufficient, prepared to handle flats and minor bike repairs.

• Carry a cell phone in case of emergency or to get that Uber ride needed every once in a while. (Be aware, however, that cell phone reception on many WE-ride routes in the San Gabriel Mountains is very limited).
