Spend your Super Bowl Sunday morning riding with your PAA friends before indulging in your Guac and Chips! Your Sunday would feel like a win no matter which team ends up with the Lombardi trophy.

This is one of the WER favorites that take us to the iconic Griffith Observatory by way of a fun descent through La Tuna Canyon and returning via the LA river path. This new edition includes a coffee stop at PAA sponsor a bloc, where you can enjoy coffee and a cookie before the gentle climb back to Descanso.

Special thanks to Rey for stepping up as ride organizer and suggesting the route change!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

The Weekend Endurance (WE) Rides no longer use ride leaders for each pace group. Instead, a ride organizer will launch each ride with route tips and be available to answer any questions. We’ll continue to have different pace groups, but each will be self-directed. This format is very similar to our highly successful Club Supported Rides (but without the SAG support).

Please keep the following in mind when joining the WE Rides:

· Download the route prior to arrival.

· Be self-sufficient, prepared to handle flats and minor bike repairs.

· Carry a cell phone in case of emergency or to get that Uber ride needed every once in a while.

This is an informal self-supported ride and not an official PAA sponsored ride. Neither PAA, the ride leaders, nor the route creators should be held responsible for any accident or injury that may occur during the ride. Please ride safely.
