WE-Ride for Sunday, October 20: Elephant Tour. Starting time 9 AM
Sunday is predicted to be lovely — starting in the mid-60s and reaching the mid-70s by afternoon with bright sunshine. Our WE-Ride route leaves from Descanso, drops down Verdugo Boulevard and crosses through Glendale to Griffith Park, then climbs up and down the Hollywood Hills past the Hollywood sign before returning.

• Be self-sufficient, prepared to handle flats and minor bike repairs.
• Carry a cell phone in case of emergency or to get that Uber ride needed every once in a while. (Be aware, however, that cell phone reception on many WE-ride routes in the San Gabriel Mountains is very limited).
