About this event

WE-Ride for Sunday, November 3: Claremont Coffee Run with San Dimas Canyon. Starting time 8 AM, Sierra Madre

Sunday’s Weekend Endurance ride takes us from Sierra Madre east to Claremont, including a scenic ride up San Dimas Canyon with its dam and reservoir.

From Sierra Madre, we go through Monrovia on Hillcrest Avenue, pass Encanto Park into Azusa and Glendora, then up San Dimas Canyon all the way before the sharp, short climp up into the Golden Hill neighborhood. After a thrilling descent down Marshall Canyon, we drop down towards Claremont.

We will stop for coffee at the Village Square plaza in Claremont (https://maps.app.goo.gl/eanuFAWs4fdUmJof6), where there are several options for coffee or a snack, or lunch, including Le Pain Quotidien, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, I Like Pie, and Poke Dot.

The return stays in the valley back to Santa Fe Dam, then through downtown Monrovia back to Sierra Madre.
