Temps may rise a bit this weekend, but here is a WE Ride for Sunday that should beat the heat. The route climbs Hwy 39 to a road (closed to cars) that meanders along the West Fork of the San Gabriel river to the Cogswell Dam. This road was recently reopened after fire damage along the watershed and is in good condition for cycling (although once on the road along the West Fork watch for minor road debris).
ADDING “C” GROUP: For this ride, and hopefully for WE Rides going forward, we’ll have A (fast), B (medium), and C (moderate) paced groups.
