About this event

WE is back!! And there will be Tacos and Guac at Around the Cycle (AtC)!

Welcome to February!

Saturday's Weekend Endurance ride starts at Descanso Gardens and takes us on a journey through Glendale to Griffith Park and up to the Observatory.  We descend to the LA River Trail and connect to the Arroyo Seco Trail.  We then Head East to Sierra Madre and then loop back to finish the route at Around the Cycle, where there will be massive amounts of guacamole (or so I am told).

AtC is holding an Eaton Fire Relief event from 12-4 on Saturday, so we thought it would be appropriate to show our support.  A link to the event page is here: https://aroundthecycle.com/pages/eaton-fire-relief

PLEASE NOTE:  The starting time is 9am which should put us at AtC around 1pm.

Start: 9:00 AM at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada-Flintridge. (https://maps.app.goo.gl/MCVp4P6vEWcKE8kD7 )

Upcoming Rides

TBD

Please keep the following in mind when joining the WE Rides:

• Download the route prior to arrival.

• Be self-sufficient, prepared to handle flats and minor bike repairs.

• Carry a cell phone in case of emergency or to get that Uber ride needed every once in a while. (Be aware, however, that cell phone reception on many WE-ride routes in the San Gabriel Mountains is very limited).

This is an informal self-supported ride and not an official PAA sponsored ride. Neither PAA, the ride leaders, nor the route creators should be held responsible for any accident or injury that may occur during the ride. Please ride safely.
