The Tour of Four Canyons
The route starts with a warm-up along Foothill Boulevard, heading West. The first canyon is the most challenging, a scenic and steady climb up Little Tujunga Canyon road to Dillon Divide. After descending from the peak, riders will make their way to Kagel Canyon, a moderate climb past rustic homes and gorgeous hillsides. The reward is a descent through Lopez Canyon and a tour of the San Fernando community, with an optional coffee stop at Starbucks. Riders then head through the Hansen Dam recreation area and bike bath, which once on the dam offers stunning views of the San Gabriels and San Fernando valley. Cap it all off with a climb up La Tuna Canyon and descent through the Montrose shopping area to the route start, and you’ll be ready for lunch!
