About this event

It is the last WER / ETR Ride of the year and it seems right to end with a century.  This is a choose your own adventure (length) ride. If you want a metric century ride only part 1; no small feat as it takes you out and up GMR and back (starts and ends at the Rose Bowl) then cheer on your imperial century friends as they continue on to part 2. Part 2 is a much flatter ride out to Burbank and back to the Rose Bowl on the river trails.

Part 1 = 64 miles 4,497ft: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53514858

Part 2 = 36 miles 1,640ft: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53474321

The Rose Bowl will act as a good staging spot to keep nutrition and other items if you plan on doing the full 100 miles.

December 21 at 8am

Please keep the following in mind when joining the WE Rides:

• Download the route prior to arrival.

• Be self-sufficient, prepared to handle flats and minor bike repairs.

• Carry a cell phone in case of emergency or to get that Uber ride needed every once in a while. (Be aware, however, that cell phone reception on many WE-ride routes in the San Gabriel Mountains is very limited).

This is an informal self-supported ride and not an official PAA sponsored ride. Neither PAA, the ride leaders, nor the route creators should be held responsible for any accident or injury that may occur during the ride. Please ride safely.
