March’s PAA WoW ride will take us to Spoke Café located along the LA River Bike Path. If you’ve never been, it’s a must for all cyclists that enjoy a leisurely ride with some delicious coffee and eats at the end or in the middle depending on where the stop is on your route. *Hint, if you stop to eat at Spoke Café, order online, it's faster than standing in line and let them know you're there waiting on your food.

Starting from the Rose Bowl (or your location), you'll climb up above the Rose Bowl, head down Chevy Chase Blvd and through Kenneth Village, which will lead you to the backside of Griffith Park. For some of you that may want a longer ride, head into Griffith Park to do a loop; if not, head south, following your nose to that wonderful smell of coffee. Stop at Spoke Café or keep going to another excellent café - La Colombe; absolutely delicious scones and croissants- try the chocolate one!

Once you've eaten your weight in croissants and/or Avocado Toast, you'll go back home through one of my favorite towns, Highland Park. If you still have room or an empty jersey pockets, you’ll pass Donut Friend; if you haven’t had one of those delicious masterpieces yet, you’re missing out.

The route starts from the Rose Bowl to Spoke Café and back https://www.strava.com/routes/2783395928347037882 is 30 miles with 1,447 ft. Thank you to Erin Buoen for the route.
