**POSTPONED TO SUNDAY, JANUARY 23 DUE TO HIGH WINDS**

Our first PAA Cycling CSR (Club Supported Ride) is on for Saturday, January 22 out of Encanto Park in Duarte. The ride, Twin Loops, is a member favorite that appeals to everyone; the climbers and the riders who enjoy the flat. The climbers will enjoy a route that will take them up Highway 39 to the backside of GMR and down the front of GMR (for an added bonus, we have an option up to Baldy Village) and back to Encanto. For those riders who want to enjoy the flat, we also have two options for you, an Emerald Necklace loop on the San Gabriel Path and a longer option out to Glendora from Emerald Necklace and back to Encanto.

RIDE INFO

Given the recent spike in Covid cases it is important to remind everyone that if you are not feeling well, or you have been exposed please do not attend the ride. SAG support volunteers will be masked at each stop, box lunches will be provided for grab and go at the end of the ride.  ***We are also asking riders to mask up as they arrive at a SAG stop, just like you would for a coffee stop on any other ride.

REGISTER TO RIDE

Registration is necessary for accurate lunch counts.  Log on to the website and register through the Event Calendar, the Home Page or the following link. https://paacycling.net/content.aspx?page_id=4002&club_id=45054&item_id=1591995. Please RSVP with which group (Climbing or Flat) you'd like to join.

Guests are welcome on any PAA ride.  Guest fees are $10 and can be paid online or at the start of the ride.  A waiver must be completed by any guest attending our rides.

Please Note

- All riders should be prepared to do minor repairs on the road (e.g., change a flat)
- Due to the challenging nature of most club supported rides, groups will invariably form and split up en route depending on riders levels of fitness, training goals, etc.
- For your safety, helmet is mandatory on PAA rides.
- Inclement weather or road closures may result in a change of the route or cancellation of event.
- Our SAGs will be actively sweeping for riders in need of support. Please make a note of all stops to ensure you are aware of the route and layout of mileage and elevation.
