The mountains are calling! W.E. Ride for this upcoming weekend heads to Baldy Village, with two starting locations to accommodate distance/timing preferences. The early birds will roll from Encanto Park at 6:30am, meeting up with a second group set to depart from Carlyle Linder Equestrian Park at 7:00am. The equestrian park is at the base of the mountain climb. Bonus—GMR will very likely be closed to cars due to the July 4th weekend.
This is a very challenging climbing ride. We will divide into A and B groups but there will not be assigned sweeps or designated regrouping locations, other than the stop at Mt. Baldy Lodge. We suggest bringing/connecting with similarly paced riding partners if concerned about group pacing.
