About this event
Join us for the April Club Supported Ride (CSR): Griffith & Mulholland on Saturday, April 12, as we ride through Griffith Park and Hollywood. Come see the sights iconic to LA from your bicycle instead of an open top tour bus! We will ride past the Observatory, take in different views of the Hollywood sign, the Hollywood reservoir and sweeping city/valley views from atop Mulholland.
There will be two route options that riders can choose from. They both see the sights, but have different paths to return to Griffith Park for lunch. Both are similar in length (45-50 miles), but much different in elevation gain. There is a flat option to return via Burbank and a climbing option to return through Bel Air and the Hollywood hills. The ride will end where it starts in Griffith Park with lunch provided by the club.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
-
All riders should be prepared to do minor repairs on the road (e.g., change a flat)
-
Due to the challenging nature of most club supported rides, groups will invariably form and split up en route depending on riders levels of fitness, training goals, etc.
-
For your safety, a helmet is mandatory on PAA rides.
-
Check the forum and event page before the ride, in case of inclement weather which may result in a change of the route or cancellation of the event.
-
Guests are welcome, but must also RSVP (guest ticket), sign a ride waiver and pay $20 to help pay for lunch and SAG supplies.
